Gateway’s Leadership consists of three teams: Oversight, Trustees, and the Ministry Team. Each team plays a unique role and has its own responsibilities, working together to guide and support our church community.
Oversight
The Oversight is the spiritual leadership of the church, responsible for its direction, care, and doctrine. It oversees Gateway’s vision, church life, and theology.
Trustees
Gateway Christian Church (Eastbourne) is a registered charity and, as such, has legal, and Biblical, obligations to comply with charity law. Trustees are defined in law as “the persons having general control and management of the administration of a charity”.
Ministry Team Leaders
Ministry Team Leaders head up the different Ministry Teams operating at Gateway. Each ministry team leader has a different area of expertise and their teams encompass the various ministries within the church.
Terry Boatwright is currently serving as our Acting Minister while we seek a Minister.
Sam Babu is our Co-Minister.
